Let’s take a quick look back at the most popular recipes of 2023 from Southern Bite!

As we wave goodbye to another year, it’s a hoot to reminisce about 2023 and all the scrumptious creations you whipped up from SouthernBite.com. Just like a well-loved recipe, our top picks have mostly stayed the same, but this year brought in some delightful surprises to our culinary mix!
This year, that coveted top spot has been unseated by a recipe that has been on the blog since 2011, but that has never been featured in the top 10. This year the recipe post got a revamp and that pushed it to be the #1 recipe of 2023!
Reflecting on the past year fills my heart with pride and a whole lot of gratitude. I’m beyond thankful for the chance to wake up each day and do what I adore โ bringing families together with simple, tasty recipes. But the biggest thank you goes out to all of you. You’re the secret ingredient behind this incredible journey I’m on.
Knowing that I get to share my passion for food (and make a living from it!) thanks to your support is something I never take for granted. Your loyalty to Southern Bite, eagerly returning each week for a new bite of deliciousness, means the world to me.
Hold onto your hats, because 2024 is shaping up to be an exhilarating year for Southern Bite! We’ve got a treasure trove of fantastic recipes on the horizon and heaps more video content to share.
Without further ado, here are the most popular recipes of 2023…

Bless you, Stacey, for refraining from what all the other recipe sites I’ve seen love to do when they list their Top 10 recipes in whatever category. I scroll through the first nine, then when I get to #10, it’s like “…and our Number One Recipe IS…(drum roll) (groan & eye roll from me), tap, tap, tap, VOILA!!!!! I’ve had enough drama already, why can’t they just show me the recipe?!!! At least you get it. Thanks from those of us who get a little tired of all the hoopla.
Ha! Happy to help! ๐

My wife made the pineapple juice cake for a family Christmas dinner. What a huge hit! She used a Pillsbury yellow cake mix per your recommendation and it worked perfectly. Several requested “her” recipe!
So glad to hear everyone enjoyed it!
