As another year comes to a close, it’s fun to look back to see what y’all were cooking from SouthernBite.com. And while, for the most part, the top recipes stayed the same as previous years, we did see a few shake ups. The most popular recipe has continued to be the most popular for the last 4 years! Y’all just really love that stuff.
More than anything, looking back just makes me grateful. I’m grateful for the opportunity to come to work and do something I love each and every day. I’m grateful for the opportunity to get folks gathered around the table. But most of all, I’m grateful for each and everyone of you.
The fact that I get to do all of these things (and make a living at it) because of y’all is not lost on me. My success is owed to you! And I couldn’t be more appreciative for y’all coming back to the site each week, looking for something delicious.

I guess I am going to have to break down and forget my ideas of a creamy chicken spaghetti!! I will try this soon. Being the #1 recipe must mean something. I know the hot water cornbread surpassed my ideas by far. I am not a cornbread fan but will eat a piece once in a while. I made half a recipe of the hot water style and ate all of it!! By myself!!
