Southern Bite is an established but still growing food blog dedicated to sharing Southern family recipes that are easy and include everyday ingredients. My goal is to help families reconnect over a meal that is both wholesome and easy to prepare. For more information on the mission, click here.
My Amazon and WSJ best-selling cookbook, The Southern Bite Cookbook: More than 150 Recipes from 4 Generations of My Family’s Kitchen (Thomas Nelson/HarperCollins Christian Publishing – March 2014), has been featured on The Today Show, Fox and Friends, Southern Lady Magazine, as well as many other print and online publications. The book spent several weeks as the #1 best seller in the Southern Cookbooks category on Amazon.com. The editors of Amazon.com also featured the book as one in their Great American Eats piece.
Southern Living has named Southern Bite one of the top blogs to follow for several consecutive years.
Here’s the live stream from my TalkShopLive segment:
Brands such as Betty Crocker, Southern Living, Martha White, Queen Latifah, Walmart, White Lily, Pampered Chef, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Kraft, J.M. Smucker, Avocados from Mexico and many others have all chosen me and Southern Bite as a platform to reach their audiences.
About Southern Bite and Our Audience:
Readers come to Southern Bite to find quick, easy recipes that help them get dinner on the table. I have a dynamic audience with a devoted following. Readers on SouthernBite.com aren’t just numbers on a stat counter, they are part of a community – and I pride myself on the relationships that I’ve built with my readers.
Southern Bite is growing on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest as well. Our audience is just over half female and our visitors range in age from 18 to over 65, with the largest concentration being between 35 and 54. At last update, Southern Bite had nearly 250,000 fans on Facebook. On Pinterest, Southern Bite recipes have been pinned millions of times.
I enjoy recommending high quality products to my reader, but don’t often have time to do so. When I do, it’s important that products be food related and family friendly. Acceptance to review a product will not guarantee a post about that product. I feel strongly about only promoting products that I use and believe in and positive reviews cannot be purchased on any level. In the best interest of your company and Southern Bite, I will not post negative reviews.
