On top of it all, Jack is playing fall soccer so we’re squeezed pretty tight to get supper done between homework and practice.

Hi Stacey, I love your page, the recipes and the great stories behind them! Really inspiring!
I guess your followers are pretty international already. Coming from and living in Germany myself, I read about crock pots or slow cooking the first time on your page.
Now preparing some ingredients and just let them cook or grill for a longer time while having some beers with my wife or friends is what I really enjoy. Knowing that there’s something great in the making while you have a good time is certainly one of the best feelings I could have.
I guess all of that just screams for a slow cooker that I don’t own yet. So my question would be, could you suggest a special brand or size and functions for making a good investment in one? I was searching your page but couldn’t find any story or suggestions to it so far.
If you would have any, I could check if I can find a good pot on the German Amazon page. I even found your cooking book there and will order that soon.

Hi Ben! Sounds like a great time to me! When it comes to slow cookers, I have several different brands – the most common being Crock-Pot an Hamilton Beach brands. I can’t say if those are available in Germany, but those are the ones I use most often.
