Hey, y’all! Welcome to this week’s delicious edition of Sunday Supper! Each week, this little space gives me a chance to share a little about our lives and serve up a little recipe inspiration for the week ahead. Let’s get to it!
It’s been another crazy week as we’re wrapping up the construction of the Chinaberry House and Southern Bite Test Kitchen! So much has happened, that it’s nearly impossible to tell you all of it! The Test Kitchen is nearly complete as plumbing and electrical wrapped up this week and they’re putting on the finishing coat of paint!
Over in the main house, our granite and quartz countertops went in this week and they put in the staircase. The concrete parking pad and sidewalks got poured after a few rain delays. The tile is nearly finished as grouting is happening now.
This sneak peek of the master bath was just too beautiful not to share.
On the blog, we shared this new Creamy Italian Pasta Skillet recipe that makes for the perfect meal when you’re short on time. I’ve heard from several of you who’ve already made it and gave it rave reviews. I’m so glad to hear that you’re enjoying it!
With much of the US in a deep freeze this weekend, I decided to dedicate this week’s Sunday Supper to warm, comforting soups! From my creamy, cheesy Super Simple Broccoli Cheese Soup to my smoky Easy Tomato Soup with Bacon to my hearty Collard Green Soup with Ham and Beans, I’ve got plenty of deliciousness to help warm those chilled bones of yours!
And if I had any question about including all soups this week, I was convinced when I saw this Creamy Gnocchi Chicken Soup from A Southern Soul. Donya says this deliciousness comes together in about 30 minutes!
Y’all stay warm out there! Happy cooking!

I see that you have aloud Hello Fresh to your site I think this is a BIG mistake. Once you let one site to be infiltrated into your site there will be others that will what the same and I don’t want to get more other e-mails. Please think about it.
Stacey
Hi Carol! I’m not sure what you mean. Just because Hello Fresh is advertising on the site doesn’t mean you’ll get an email from them.
