  1. JoAnn seems to be an unhappy person or (hopefully) just having a bad day. Her comments were uncalled for, rude, and just plain wrong. I enjoy your site very much and have saved many of your recipes. I am positive you have many other fans as well. Please ignore this nay-sayer and continue doing exactly what you’ve been doing. You’re doing good work Stacey!

    1. Hey there! Thanks so much for your support—it really means a lot to me! I try to keep a positive outlook and understand that everyone has their moments. I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and for being a part of our community.

  2. Been a subscriber for years but no more. Your sight is terrible now. Everytime I trie to access a recipe it takes me to other recipes and tries to get me to access recipes I have no interest in. Youve changed and you care nothing about your subscribers except for the financial benefit they bring you. You don’t respond to subscribers questions. Greedy.

    1. I’m honestly not sure what’s more frustrating—being accused of not caring about my readers or being told I don’t respond to comments, when I respond to every single one myself. This site has always been about helping folks get real food on the table, and I’ve worked hard for over 15 years to keep it approachable, helpful, and personal.

If you’re having trouble navigating the site, that sounds like a technical issue—not something done out of greed. I’d be glad to help if you’d reached out instead of making assumptions.

I care deeply about this community, and comments like this—especially when they’re just not true—cut deep.

      1. JoAnn’s comment was terribly rude, and absolutely FALSE!! Stacey, your site is a go-to for me, and I am so sorry that someone posted suck awful words! Know that you are very loved, and your site has always been a place of comfort. Hugs!

      2. Thank you so much for this, truly. I can’t tell you how much it means to have folks like you in this community. I pour my heart into Southern Bite every single day, and while the negative comments can sting, kind words like yours remind me exactly why I do this. I’m so grateful you’re here. Big hugs right back!
