Hi Stacy: I’m not a cook. Mostly I’m an eater. But I like carrots. Help me out here. I’m assuming when you say combine carrots & honey in a pan, that the carrots are in water, too. Sorry t ask such a dumb question, but ……. Not a cook
No worries, Tad! I’m happy to help. If you’ve had this question, I’m sure others have at some point as well. With this recipe, we use fresh carrots, so there’s no water like if you’d used canned carrots. I’d imagine you might could use canned carrots, but you’d want to drain the juice completely and discard the water. Just keep in mind that the canned carrots are already cooked and won’t need to cook as long.
Dumb question… Do you mean apple cider vinegar?
I typically use regular white vinegar but you could use apple cider vinegar also.
Can’t wait to try these. Love carrots just about any way you fix them from raw on a relish tray or marinated or even a carrot souffle. Keep up sending out easy but delicious recipes using every day ingredients.
I hope you enjoy them! 🙂
