Hashbrown Casserole

This has become a staple of any family gathering in my neck of the woods…

Ingredients

  • 1 (2 lb) bag of frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 (10 oz) bag of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8oz) tub of sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1/3 cup plain bread crumbs

Directions

1.  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2.  Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl and pour into greased 3 quart casserole dish.

3.  Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and pour butter over top.

4.  Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes.
