Thanks Stacey for this video. This is the same Roux that my Grandmother and Mother passed along to me. It makes for the perfect gumbo. One thing for sure, if you slightly burn it…start over. When I make this, my husband always ‘it smells better than whatever you are making this for’! I usually turn my exhaust fan on while browning and he says he call smell it outside!
