Don’t you just love simple recipes that make you look like youโve been working in the kitchen all afternoon, even if you just decided on dessert five minutes ago? This is one of those recipes! Brown Sugar Peach Sauce comes together in less than 10 minutes! I’m not even kidding.
Drizzle this warm, sweet peachy sauce over a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, spoon it onto pound cake or bread pudding, or pour it over pancakes or waffles. Iโve even been known to eat it straight from the saucepan with a spoon. Itโs that good.

How to Store Brown Sugar Peach Sauce
If you have leftover Brown Sugar Peach Sauce or make it ahead of time, you can easily store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Itโll keep for about 4 to 5 days. When you’re ready to use it, just warm it slowly, stirring occasionally, in a saucepan over medium heat or in the microwave.
How to Fix Runny Peach Sauce
If you end up with a peach sauce that is too runny for your liking, just let it boil at a simmer a little longer on the stove. The heat helps cook off some of the liquid, giving you a thicker, more syrupy sauce. How long you allow it to simmer depends on how runny or not runny you prefer, so I’d suggest hanging out by the stove and keeping an eye on it until the consistency is exactly how you’d like.

Can I use fresh peaches instead of canned peaches?
You sure can! If youโve got some fresh, ripe peaches on hand, go for it! Just peel and slice them before tossing them into the pot. Since canned peaches usually come in juice or syrup, youโll need to add a little liquid to the recipe. Water works just fine here.
Keep in mind, fresh peaches may take a minute or two longer to soften, depending on how ripe they are.

Hi! how can I thicken this? and can I store this in the fridge overnight? or whats the best way to store this?
You can cook it a little longer to thicken it more. Store it in the fridge, but you’ll need to warm it back up to use it. Hope that helps!

How would this be if you pulsed the peaches and made it all sauce?
Should work just fine. Might need to be cooked down a bit more because the peaches will release more moisture when pulsed and cause the sauce to be runny.

would this be good served over a ham slice or would it be too sweet?
I think it may be too sweet for that.

This does sound wonderful and I will be making it, but Iโm wondering where you for those cute little enamel pots youโve served this in.
Hey Sherry! I honestly don’t remember, but I’d guess somewhere like Marshall, HomeGoods, or TJMaxx. I find lots of my dishes at places like those.
