That’s what I love about the weekend. For us, Sundays give us an opportunity to slow down a bit and we almost always have dinner on Sunday evening. But after working all week, taking care of the weekend chores, and prepping for the week ahead, I still don’t have tons of time to prep a huge meal.

Brown Sugar Peach Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 (15-ounce) can Libby's® Yellow Cling Peach Slices in Fruit Juice ((drained with 2 tablespoons juice reserved))
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- pinch salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Add the 2 tablespoons of reserved Libby's® Peach juice and mix well. Cook over medium low heat until the sugar has dissolved. It may seem like the sauce won't come together, but it will. Just keep stirring.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the salt, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix well to combine. Add Libby's® Peaches and stir gently. Serve warm over ice cream, pound cake, etc.

Hi! how can I thicken this? and can I store this in the fridge overnight? or whats the best way to store this?
Stacey
You can cook it a little longer to thicken it more. Store it in the fridge, but you’ll need to warm it back up to use it. Hope that helps!
Diana
How would this be if you pulsed the peaches and made it all sauce?
Stacey
Should work just fine. Might need to be cooked down a bit more because the peaches will release more moisture when pulsed and cause the sauce to be runny.

Stacy, good morning. I have been ill and didn’t notice that everything has changed. What happened to all my saved recipes?
Stacey
I hope you’re feeling better! Your recipe box is still there. Just find it in the menu at the top. There’s a button that says “Recipe Box.”

would this be good served over a ham slice or would it be too sweet?
Stacey
I think it may be too sweet for that.
Sherry
This does sound wonderful and I will be making it, but I’m wondering where you for those cute little enamel pots you’ve served this in.
Stacey
Hey Sherry! I honestly don’t remember, but I’d guess somewhere like Marshall, HomeGoods, or TJMaxx. I find lots of my dishes at places like those.

Stacey I made this recipe today, to go along with my peach pound cake and vanilla ice cream. It was a big hit with my family. I also added a little bit on nutmeg. It smelled just like peach cobbler. Thank you for this great recipe. I will be making it over and over again for family events.
Stacey
Wonderful! So glad to hear y’all enjoyed it!
Niki
I just made this to put over a peach cobbler/crisp/crumble hybrid I made, I plan on getting some ice cream to put it on as well. Just had some on honeydew.. just need this cobbler to come out of the oven before it’s gone!
Stacey
Ha! So glad you enjoyed it!
Dino
I made this with fresh peaches from the tree. Amen is it yum!
Stacey

Sam
I’m going to make this but only 2T of juice is used, total? The rest is tossed?
Stacey
That’s correct, Sam. Enjoy!

Water should work just fine.
