  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups of milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

1.  Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

2.  Cream the butter, sugar, and shortening.

3.  Add the eggs one at a time and beat well.

4.  Add the dry ingredients alternately with milk, being sure to blend well.

5.  Add vanilla extract.

6.  Pour into a large greased tube or Bundt cake pan and bake for one hour and 10 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

  1. Hey Stacey! This cake looks so GOOOOD! I will definitely be making this very soon! Just one question – I take it that it calls for 1/2 cup shortening? Thanks for the recipe.

  2. oooh no! Yep, 1/2 cup!

  3. Very shortly this web site will be famous among all blogging viewers, due
to it’s nice articles or reviews

  4. There’s a lot of competition for our terms, so we had to prove our worth
to Google first. If there, in any money Spider will catch the same content in the coursework of scanning, defiantly,
rating of the nsite will fall down and also affected keywords rating or it might be block your
net site in search engine searching in money of duplicity. Even those who didn’t pay for an advertising space can get traffic from a
satisfied purchaser who posted a good review.

  5. I made this over the weekend and it was the best chocolate pound cake ever – usually they are on the dry side, but the shortening made this one moist and delicious!!!!!! Thanks!
