May 28th is National Burger Day and my friends at Johnsonville asked me to swap out traditional ground beef for one of their Johnsonville Grillers and boy am I glad I did! They are made with only premium cuts of pork and special spice blends. Available in flavors like Cheddar Cheese & Bacon, Swiss Cheese and Mushroom or Original Bratwurst, there’s a burger to suite any taste.
I opted for the Original Bratwurst patties and topped them with one of my favorite Southern condiments – pimento cheese. You can make your own or just do what I did and use some store bought.
They grill up just a regular burgers would, but are so much more flavorful since all the flavor is packed right in the sausage.
I was a little skeptical about how Jack would react to the swap, but with a mouth covered with mess he pronounced, “Dad, these are great!”
You could dress these just as you would any other burger or even like you would a brat dog – with mustard, grilled onions, etc.
Regardless, y’all have got to give these Johnsonville Grillers a try. They’re available in both frozen and fresh varieties and just make getting an awesome burger on the table even easier. And who doesn’t love that? Less time at the grill means more time with family and friends!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Johnsonville . The opinions and text are all mine.
