Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Ingredients

– flat cut corned beef  – small potatoes – onion – baby carrots – celery –  garlic – pickling spice (optional) –  beef broth – cabbage

Place potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, and garlic in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add corned beef on top of vegetables, fat side up, along with any juices from the package and the pickling spices.

Add enough beef broth to barely cover the beef. Cook on low. About an hour before serving, add cabbage wedges to the broth.

Once done, remove brisket, slice or shred, and serve with mustard or horseradish sauce, along with cabbage and vegetables.
