Ingredients

– beef stew meat – brown gravy mix – au jus mix –  water – sour cream –  egg noodles

Spray a 4 to 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Combine brown gravy mix, au jus mix, and water in the slow cooker, whisking to combine. Add meat, ensuring it's covered with liquid.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for about 5 hours until beef is tender. About 30 minutes before serving, transfer 1/2 cup of gravy to a bowl, mix with sour cream, and return to the slow cooker, stirring to combine. Cook covered on high for 20 minutes.

Cook egg noodles separately and serve beef and gravy over hot noodles, or add noodles to the slow cooker and stir together.
