To make a fudge-like treat, butter an 8×8-inch baking dish or use nonstick cooking spray. In a pot, combine sugar, milk, and butter, bring to a boil, and stir constantly for 5 minutes until it reaches the soft ball temperature of 235°F.
Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips and marshmallow creme until smooth, add chopped nuts, and pour into the prepared dish. Cool completely and cut as desired.
