Easy Sausage Gravy

Sausage gravy is a family breakfast staple, enjoyed over buttermilk biscuits, grits, scrambled eggs, and Bacon and Pimento Cheese Quiche. It's hearty, easy to make, and doesn't require draining and cooks in one skillet, making it a comfort food staple.

Ingredients

ground pork breakfast sausage  purpose flour milk salt pepper

Brown sausage in skillet over medium-high heat, add flavor, sprinkle flour, cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Gradually add milk, stirring frequently, reduce to simmer, thicken to desired consistency, add salt and black pepper, serve immediately.
