This recipe features real butter and fresh garlic, resulting in the best garlic bread ever. It's soft, gooey in the middle, and crispy around the edges. While it may be decadent, the ultimate goal is for the best garlic bread.

Ingredients

French bread  unsalted butter  garlic  salt  dried parsley flakes

Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.

1

Slice loaf of bread in half and place the pieces, cut side up, on the prepared pan.

2

Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic, steep for 3 minutes, add salt and parsley, stir, and coat bread with garlic butter.

3

Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. For extra crispiness, place under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes, watching very carefully. Slice and serve warm.
