Ingredients

Butter  Sugar  Brown Sugar  Vanilla  Eggs  All-Purpose Flour  Salt  Baking Soda  Chocolate Chips  Pecans

In a large bowl, use a stand or hand mixer to blend butter and sugars until well combined, then add eggs and vanilla and mix thoroughly.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually incorporate this flour mixture into the butter and sugar mixture, ensuring thorough mixing after each addition. Once fully combined, add chocolate chips and pecans and stir them in.

To control cookie texture, refrigerate the dough for chewy cookies (30 minutes minimum) or bake immediately for crispier ones. Scoop heaping 1 tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared sheet using a cookie scoop. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges turn golden brown. Let them rest on the sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring.
