Soccer season is back in full swing in our neck of the woods, so our evenings are spent shuttling from practice to games and struggling to find time to fit homework in there somewhere.  All the shuffling creates quite the challenge when trying to get a home-cooked meal on the table, which is really important to me- as you well know.

That being the case, I’m always looking for super quick and easy things I can put on the table on these busy weeknights.  When the folks at Tyson® contacted me about trying their Meal Kits, I knew I had seen them somewhere, but wasn’t sure where.  My next trip to Publix, I found them proudly displayed right there in the meat case!

Right now the meal kits are on sale at Publix for only $10.99– though April 13th.  That such a great deal for an amazingly easy and delicious meal!

On first inspection, I loved the idea that the meat, sauce, and pasta were all right in there together.  Realizing the pasta was already cooked was a bonus and a HUGE time saver.  They come in a variety of flavors like Creamy Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, 3 Cheese Chicken Carbonara, Beef & Cheddar Melt, and Beef Marinara Penne, so there’s something for every taste.

Monday when we got home from practice, I pulled the 3 Cheese Chicken Carbonara out of the fridge and decided to give it a go.  I was a little skeptical about the “ready in 15 minutes” label on there, but it’s quite accurate.  Start to finish it took less than 15 minutes.  We added a salad and had dinner ready in no time!

This kit was as simple as browning the chicken…

…adding the already cooked pasta and heating through.

Then adding the sauce and warming it throughout.  Like I said, amazingly easy!

For a little added flavor, I stirred in a couple tablespoons of chopped cooked bacon and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.  My family devoured it!

WIN: You can also jump over to the Tyson® Meal Kits website and enter to be one of 100 folks to win a coupon for a free Meal Kit.  Just hurry, the giveaway ends April 30th.

What Tyson® Meal Kit would you choose?
