Hey y’all! You know in the South we’re big on introductions. We celebrate debutant balls and cotillions, and most personal introductions are made with a handshake or even a great big ol’ hug. Today, I’d like to introduce y’all to our new Southern bite family member, Laura. Laura will be blogging about Southern culture and events so we can keep up with everything and keep the content fresh for y’all. The truth is, I’ve know Laura since I was a kid and we’ve been best friend ever since, that’s why I’m so excited to introduce y’all to her. Not only is she a talented writer, but a funny and equally amazing and sweet person. Y’all will love her, I promise!
You’re also likely to see a few changes to Southern Bite as well. You’ll find a new “Upcoming Southern Events” tab on the right sidebar so we can keep y’all up-to-date on neat upcoming events that feature Southern food and culture. You can also start sending your events to Laura at laura@southernbite.com. She’ll review them and if they’re a good fit we’ll get them posted. We’ve also got a few other exciting changes coming soon… more on those later.
I’d also like to thank you all for being a part of the Southern Bite family! I am so grateful for and humbled by the growth we’ve seen over the past few months. I wake every morning excited about being able to share my love of Southern food with all of you! We’ve got some fun and exciting things on the horizon. Just hang on, we’re just getting started!
